On Monday, June 10th, 2024, Grade 6 and 7 students from HWS visited the Ekadeshma Agricultural Center in Manohara, Bhaktapur, as part of their Science summative assessment.
This trip provided a unique opportunity to explore traditional village life and past sustainable practices. Students experienced sustainable lifestyles firsthand by walking through the village, harvesting plants, and encountering traditional tools and recycled items.
They also observed
outdated electronic gadgets,
highlighting the progress of
science over time.
Parents organized a potluck,
fostering community and allowing
students to share homemade
dishes. The day was filled with
learning, exploration, and
camaraderie, offering invaluable
insights into traditional
agricultural practices and
sustainable living.
