The IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) is a five-year programme for students aged 11–16, which provides a framework that encourages students to become creative, critical, and reflective thinkers. MYP aims to develop students' disciplinary understanding, intercultural awareness, and global engagement. It promotes inquiry-based learning, where students explore concepts and develop their understanding through investigation, experimentation, and collaboration. The programme also emphasises the development of skills and dispositions necessary for a successful and balanced life. At Himalayan WhiteHouse IB World School, we offer four years of the MYP, and in Year 5, we prepare students for the SEE examination, which they undertake at the end of the year.
